Every child in Connecticut is entitled to a free and appropriate education. While that sounds fairly simple, most parents will tell you that it is not. Many parents and students run into issues trying to determine what qualifies as an “appropriate education.” We know that what works for one child does not necessarily work for another. Some children need extra assistance or additional resources to help them obtain an appropriate education. Getting that assistance or those resources can often be overwhelming, emotional, and draining, but it's not something you have to do alone. It's important that you have someone by your side who understands your child’s state and federal educational rights and can be the voice that both you and your child deserve. We can be that voice and advocate for your child.
